The helicopter landed on top of a landing pad behind a large building. Sahara couldn’t help but stare at the base. It seemed to be in the exactly same layout of her previous base, void of the acres of forest. She could tell everything was new.

Their leader leaned over to whisper something to the pilot. He nodded as he pressed all sorts of different buttons. The grinning man pushed the side door open, revealing a man and a woman standing a few hundred feet away, as if expecting them.

“I’m dropping you two off here so I may go back and wait for any other arrivals. You will be treated and given rooms for the night. We will talk soon about your departure.”

The wind from the rudders cutting the air exploded in Sahara’s face as she dropped from the helicopter onto the grass. Ocean landed next to her, wincing as his stomach muscles clenched.

The door was closed, the flying machine leaving them alone with the doctor and his nurse in front of them.

As the two strangers made no move to come closer, Sahara and Ocean made a silent agreement to go to them. Sahara reached out to take ocean’s hand as they walked, the healer’s faced becoming clearer and clearer.

The girl had half-moon glasses, her brown eyes sparkling behind them as she looked Ocean up and down. Her brown hair was pulled back in a loose bun. The man looked handsome, but the complete opposite of Ocean. He had blonde hair like Sahara’s, but his eyes were a dark color close to black.

When they got close enough that they didn’t have to yell to be heard, the girl was the first to step forwards.

“Let me take care of you.” She said to Ocean, skimming a finger down his arm before taking his other hand and leading him away.

“I’m in your capable hands,” he replied and grinned at Sahara as a flash of jealousy crossed her face. He rubbed his thumb across the back of her hand before allowing himself to be taken away.

“Miss?” The man pulled her attention away from Ocean’s back. “Is there anything specific I can help you with? Your friend had visible wounds, but I see no more than scratches and bruises on you.”

Sahara wondered when he had examined her, but didn’t really care all too much. “Can you help heal a mending heart?” she quizzed.

The man smiled softly before holding out his hand. “I’m afraid not. But I will clean up some of your other, physical wounds.”

Sahara didn’t smile as she took his hand, but her eyes revealed her pain and confusion from within.
They arrive to the real Base Hurcamr Ocean and go to be healed. I fear for Ocean's health especially. Sahara might hurt him. :D
